'A HUNDRED THOUSAND WELCOMES' (Céad Mile Fáilte)

Thanks for visiting, and don't worry, '...I don't kill everybody I meet'. Have you ever thought about interesting ways to kill people and get away with it? It's been a theme of stories for generations and a theme of movies for a hundred years. If you have read my book(s), or my screenplays, thank you so much. I urge you to keep reading more, you will be very surprised. I would love to hear from you and intend setting this site up with lots of interesting stuff, puzzles, short stories, one-line gags etc. For now it's under construction, so please bear with me. (Did I tell you about my tree?). FACEBOOK and TWITTER links are at the bottom of the page and EMAIL CONTACT is above .

We've all been stuck in airports. A few years ago, I was stuck in Istanbul Airport transit lounge for fourteen hours. It was mobbed. At that time, airport security was in the news. As I sat on the floor and looked around, two questions popped into my head. - 'Despite security, how could an unarmed person enter the airport, destroy it, and not be detected?' and 'Why would he or she do that?' I'm a fan of spies and covert operations stories. That's how THE BAHCIVAN AFFAIR book came about. (See Reviews Below).

Internet crime is often in the news. THE PERVERTIONISTS book happened  because I wondered how private perversity could be made public, and made personal to all of us. There is a little bit of pervertion in us all, more in some than in others. What is in the majority of us is a desire that those who do real wrong should be punished. Would you press the button? To be honest - I think I would. (Publishing Soon).

We all also wonder what might be the next most unexpected thing to  happen in the world. Some people think of wars, or aliens, or time travel or whatever. THE SUPREME TRUTH book offers a very different unexpected event. One of my favourite characters is journalist Pat Brady - a man who gets all the right answers for all the wrong reasons. Terrible things happened to Brady and he can look forward to more. (Publishing Soon).

We all listen to our best friends. - 'Why not write SCI-FI BOOKS you'd love to have read as a teen and would love to read now?' Like many of you, I'm a sci-fi fan, especially ASIMOV. And so my VIKING STARSHIP SERIES came about. The books were great fun to write. Book Five isn't finished yet. If VIKINGS surprises and interests readers the same way ASIMOV surprised and interested me, I will be thrilled and forever grateful.

THE BAHCIVAN AFFAIR - This is the best book I've read since 'I Am Pilgrim' last year. David Taylor's attention to detail is right up there with Tom Clancy's military knowledge or how Frederick Forsyth gets a fake passport. His detailed knowledge of the construction industry is put to good use on a couple of occasions and his research and his knowledge of the country of Turkey is expertly exposed. The message of the book is something that our generation should grab hold of with both hands and try to deal with. I thoroughly enjoyed this rollercoaster ride of a novel, and I urge you to give it a read. You will not regret it. (By Paul. Kindle. Amazon)

THE BAHCIVAN AFFAIR - A tremendous roller coaster of a yarn from beginning to end. Bahcivan causes chaos, death and destruction on an epic scale but why? All is not what it seems. Bahcivan has a plan and, for him, the end justifies the means. Bahcivan = Bond + Bourne + a conscience. (By J.W.S. Kindle. Amazon)

THE BAHCIVAN AFFAIR - Part one of this book sees a completely unarmed stranger enter a major international airport and then, with very little ceremony, effect its clean, clinical and total destruction. You could be forgiven for thinking the writer had peaked too soon. Until part two catapults you through a maze of plot twists and intrigue. Is the host city part of the problem or part of the solution? Is the stranger anarchist or antichrist? Who really rules the world and have you ever wondered why? An absorbing and fascinating yarn. (By James F. Paperback. Amazon)
